General comments from Marty

First I want to say thank you to all the people involved in this project. I feel everyone
who had a hand in producing, appearing, or assisting is family, and this is OUR project.
It is more of a gift and a documentation of a simpler life than business venture.

No one is going to get rich from this but if some of you use it to make a better life, that is
great!

For those of you who were not there when the Groove Shack happened, you are welcome
to join the fraternity and the only cost of admission is belief. There are no dues, there is
no hazing, but you must represent the funk and learn from the past.

Look for upcoming volumes of Open Mic’s to be released and follow us on Facebook
and Twitter.

Peace,
Marty

Feature film adaptation in the works

Groove Shack has generated interest in Hollywood on adapting the documentary to a
feature film. Before we get our hopes up too high, we are still in the early stages of script
writing and negotiations with several studios in LA. However it is exciting to think about
and if the script is great, we may move forward with budgets and key players to join the
team.

Due to confidentiality agreements, we are not at liberty to divulge the specifics.

This project would be a fantastic honor to produce and to put Central Ohio in the
spotlight once again.

These projects can take years to finally hit the big screen, but if there is continued interest
in that special time, we will see it through.

Projects connected to Groove Shack Documentary

International Artist Copywrite is creating a soundtrack to accompany the movie and will
be available through I-tunes and select record stores in the fall of 2011.
Copywrite has assembled a few artists from the Groove Shack era to perform and
contribute tracks to the project. A special track by Grammy nominated Naatz will also
be included. “A journey back and looking forward” will be the theme with some vintage
Copywrite/Camu/Intalec beats as well as some RJD2 collaborations. Look for DJ Drastic
to spin a tale of funk on the wheels while “Copy” drops an emotional vibe of simpler
times and the complicated present.
